Inspiration.....

From time to time, I like to share the work of artists who continually inspire me to try new directions and techniques. I had the opportunity to take a paper making workshop with Fritzi Huber who is an artist and arts educator specializing in hand made paper. (website: www.fritzihuber.com) Fritzi has conducted workshops all over the country and is now living in Wilmington, NC. She has received artists grants from the NC Arts Council, California Arts Council, and the Kenan Institute for the Arts which allowed her to become a certified International Educator through the Linclon Center Institute. Her work has been exhibitied around the world and is now represented by New Elements Gallery in Wilmington.

Fritzi incorporates the flotsam found on the shores around Wilmington into her handmade papers to make beautiful abstract images indicative of coastal living.
